Browser-based model-based Virtual Tour

Technology description

ATG Europe is a Dutch innovation driven service provider with a strong heritage in space and high tech industries. Over the past years it has developed a web based software tool that allows for a highly detailed model based view of industrial facilities. Focus is primarily on marketing but, because the tour is model based, a transformation towards a functional tool aimed at operations training is easily achievable. The webbased platform allows users to experience complex facilities in either third or first person through their browser or in virtual reality. The platform runs on the Verge3D engine but is coming to life through the highly detailed and accurately modeled assets from ATG MediaLab that are normally used in ESA’s mission animations.
